Do you have a mosquito remedy?

Citronella oil, or citronella candles will rid you of this mosquito. He seems to have a meal for life in you, my friend, but either oil in a burner, candles or a little oil mixed with baby oil and rubbed onto your skin will rid you of your greedy mosquito.

Those sheets we put in our dryers are good for rubbing on your exposed flesh to keep the bugs away. Mosquitos hate them! You can rubber band one around your wrist if you like, instead of rubbing it on your skin, and they'll stay away.

try lighters fluid or gasoline or other petrochemical, it can counter act at least bee, wasp and ant stings

I don't get bothered by mosquitoes, but I know that the Avon Skin So Soft has been reported to be a great remedy. I don't even know if Avon still sells that stuff.. but it worked on gnats and mosquitoes in the south GA area.

I just got done putting some anti itch cream on my grandson. He had a bunch of bites. I told him to fight the urge to scratch let the medicine work. Of course it was still itching. So I told him to press his fingernail on the bite, his fingernails are too short. So I did it for him, it worked they quit itching.

I not only have a mosquito bite remedy, but I have a mosquito remedy as well.

Treat mosquito bites with Goldbond Ointment. It works wonders! I just had a couple of bites yesterday (got 'em while I slept!), put Goldbond on them and the itch was relieved immediately. It is also an antiseptic so it will prevent, or cure, infection.

Fabric softener sheets, like Downy or Snuggles, etc., work pretty good at keeping mosquitoes from landing on you. Mosquitoes zoom in when they smell the oils and perspiration from our skin. Even if we can't smell them, they can. The fabric softener sheets mask our natural scent and confuse the little pests, so they won't land on you.

I'm sure a few will get by, but it works for me 100%. I just never thought to use them around me in bed until yesterday morning! Stuff them in your pillow cases, under sheets, on headboards, between mattress and box spring, anywhere you can think of. Rub one on yourself, too, before going to sleep.

I heard this works awhile ago but never used it. Then my mother used it and raved about it! So, I tried it and it works for me! (Well, we'll see about overnight... I'm trying that for the first time tonight.)

I'm sure there are a lot of home remedies for mosquito bite itches, but for me, the best thing to use is Goldbond Ointment. It also works great for poison ivy itch, sunburn itch, just about any kind of itch.

Apply a paste of baking soda, or of aspirin to the bites. Or Aloe Vera gel, or alcohol based hand sanitizer. Grow plants that have a lemon scent. Spray the bug with white vinegar. I have always been told that if you eat less sugar, and take B complex vitamins, the mosquitoes do not think you taste as good.

Best remedy that I know to keep a mosquito away is your regular mouth wash. You can also take a fabric softener sheet and rub it all over your arms and legs, or any part of your skin that's showing. Mosquitos don't like the smell of these two things. I have also read that mosquitos like to bite people that have a high cholesterol, they have done a study on this, and some reason when it's high, we give off a smell that mosquito love. With the mouthwash, you can spray some around the door ways and whereever you would normally see mosquitos and then you will start to see that you don't have them around anymore. You can add mouth wash, stale beer and Epsom salt for a stronger effect.

You can use Off spray to keep mosquitoes off of your skin and body. You can also spray your outside of your house or yard area with seven. that will kill them and keep them away from your property. You can also put Calomine lotion on the bites to stop them from itching. I hate all bugs and bug bites. We are dealing with trying to rid of them now also. We put down seven spray yeaterday arounf the yard area.
