Great thing about Music, it brings back memories! Don't you think so?  

Well,it seems that you have a wonderful fortime. Music is really a good thing.You can listen to it at any time and any place. I heart music,too.However, my point is that it is not always good to recall the past. I used to be a reminiscent person and my beloved music alway reminds me of my sad memories. I had a long time to recover.So,my suggestion is you should listen to some delightful music when you are unhappy. Or it will make things worse.

absolutely, its nice to think back those good old times and its really reviving to hear those old music that make you trigger the long forgotten summertime time of your life.

i really love to hear oldies music and i prefer them over new ones since they have more meaning and far better than the music being created nowadays.

I think it's great that certain memories come back whether they're good or bad. It's a test of your memory,LOL. There are certain smells that bring back memories as well. I too, love the music from the 70's and 80's. I'm listening to the 70's right now.

First of all, can I just say that I love your avatar. It is the cutest dancing penguin. Now to the topic at hand: I looooooooooooove music ok. My dream was to be on stage singing but my shyness stopped that. Anyway, I feel the way you do. A gush of memories just comes to you when you hear particular songs. I grew up in the same era as you (39 years old) and those were the truly good days. I miss them terribly, espcially with the way things are going today, from kids to gas prices. It's all sad now but thanks for the music and the memories right. God Bless!

Oh yeah! It sure does! I ahve one for every boyfriend I had and I hear the and remember...wonder what if.... stuff like that. Some are for good times and others are the bad times. Austin Roberts - early 70's "somethings wrong with me can't get you our of my mind" was his (probably) one and only hit, but I can recite it and still remember!

Funny thing is sometimes now, they remind you of the time, but the time is now useless. I think often, "how could I have been so stupid about that" or something like that! OH, for the fun times!

Absolutely.Each generation has its own Music.It grows up with that Music and this becomes the One that the Generation identifies with and relates to later on in Life.In my country my parents love their Old Classical and Old Film based Music.But me like the Music that I grew up with which included Classical stuff as well as the Modern Music of my Generation.Now my brother loves English albums that are constituted of Rock,Pop,Hip Hop and the like.Though I do like them I am selective about the ones I prefer.Some of them my brother loves I simply hate.
But yes the bottomline is Every Generation has it's own Music and it has a certain Nostalgic feel whenever one tunes into it.

Absolutely! Great music does bring memories of old times, especially ones that you've listening to when you were younger. 70's and 80's have some of the greatest bands of all time, no doubt about it. But sometimes it's also hard to find some oldie-goodies, and I've had the same experience which my tape got stuck in the player. Anyway, try the Internet or cd shops, you might find what you're looking for - It'll take time sometimes, but absolutely worth it.
