I think that the old episodes of star wars were way beter then the new ones. They had this imagination in it, philosophy of the jedi great dialogues and way better script. It was just something diffrent then the another films even if in some places dumb. The new episodes of Star Wars I think was made only for cash. Actors are great but the scenario is just stupid. All that they could do was special effects and music. 3rd part was close but what the **** Qui Gon ghost was doing there. Something like... "Yo! I'm dead but if Yoda can do it in future I can too!". I don't want even remember about flying over the lava river and not getting all on fire from the temperature (and later just becouse Vader was close to the river he get on fire). I think that Lucas had just luck when he was making old Star Wars. Special Edition of the old episode is a great mistake for me too. Why did they changed the ending? It's pointless.

I am a huge Star Wars fan,and I love the trilogy, and I watch it whenever I can,I agree Episodes IV,V,and VI were much better than Episodes I,II,and III because they had an excellent storyline, wonderfully thought out characters, and hours of action, and I sadly agree I think Episodes I,II,and III were made for cash, because if they were made for any other reason the George Lucas would have started with Episode I,and did the begining and then the end,and I think it was kind of bizarre to have Qui-Gon's ghost appear in Episode III,and it was also bizarre that they were flying over the lava but did not catch on fire, whereas Vader was just at the edge and he was consumed by flames,I think George Lucas was a genious for creating the original Star Wars, and I was happy that he made the Special Edition of the original trilogy, because it made it better, cause they were able to do scenes the way they wanted, unlike when they made them originally and were restricted by their budget.

I love the original episodes IV V and VI too. That's why I can't stand the new episodes. There's so many weird thing in them. Episode I - JarJar - Just WTF?! Episode II - actually it was so borring I can't remember about what it was. Episode III - close to the original genius, yet so far away. I think that the I and the II episode was so crappy and the III episode had to make some connections between old and new episodes that this was just too overwhelming thing to do with so many things that they done wrong in last episodes. That's why even III episode was crappy. Without this burden of the episode I and II it could be really good. (and what with the "order 69" or something like that? Vader should kill all the jedi just like it was said in the older episodes!)

The originals were definetely the best as they were the originals! They were new and exciting and had great story lines and everything. With episodes 1-3, I think the main problem was people just loved the old ones too much, so they were bound to be disappointed. I also think that they could have been done a lot better. They were far to political in places, the love story between Anakin and whatver she was called was just far too soppy and gross (like she was old when they first met, he just a kid) oh and the character of Anakin annoyed me too much!! I also didn't get why Anakin went so crazy! Surely he'd've realised his mistake when he learnt the truth about the senator. It just didn't make sense that he'd just then suddenly go on a killing rampage!! Anyway, on their own I think episode 1-3 are good films, but they just don't compare to the originals and i think were made far too sloppily!

I really dislike the new Star Wars prequels. I honestly didn't care what Darth Vader was like as a child. I think the mystery of his life was completely crushed from the newer films. I'm somewhat obsessed and protective when it comes to episodes 4,5, and 6 (A New Hope, Empire, and Jedi). They had everything a geek could relate to, lol. The newer ones tried way to hard to gain more 'hip' viewers. At least that's how I see it. But I do however like the Sith movie. I like how it all came to an end, but at the same time I was't originally interested in seeing the past.
