Salted apples?????  |

 hi my friends in Mylot,
In some discussions about food I read that many of our friends in the US sprinkle a little salt on apples when eating.
I never heard of this before. So please tell me what salting an apple is good for, mainly as we are recommended to use fewer salt to improve our eating habits.

In fact, I've heard about this too and were really surprised. I know that there are people who eat apples with salt and there are also people who eat melons and watermelons with salt and pepper. I guess they add salt and pepper because this fruits can be really sweet and the sault is for softening the sweetness.
I like my fruits like they are and I don't think I will like them with pepper or sault but if there are people who like their fruits that way, I wish them all the best.
