Salted apples?????  | |  hi my friends in Mylot,
In some discussions about food I read that many of our friends in the US sprinkle a little salt on apples when eating.
I never heard of this before. So please tell me what salting an apple is good for, mainly as we are recommended to use fewer salt to improve our eating habits.

 book1962 (14761) | 5 months ago | Hi Oreo I have never tried salt on grapefruit. Mainly cause I dont like grapefruits but maybe they taste better with salt. Its really worth a try.

I can't always afford to buy them, but when I do I like to peel them just like an orange and get all the white stuff off that I can and then put a little salt on the plate and dip them in salt and eat them. YUM!!! I think grapefruits are an acquired taste. | |
