Change Your Shower Curtain.  

It's definitely worrying for sure. I have one too, and am going to get it changed as soon as possible.

There's things that are bad for us, sure, and some things are real bad for us. But when something is releasing up to 100 toxins into my bathroom, I'm not taking any chances, not with the health problems I already have.

I don't think anyone was actually sniffing the shower curtain, but when you buy a new shower curtain, there's that "new" smell to it.

Laglen, that was exactly my thoughts when I read Angels news post here... We might as well build us a bubble and live in that, but wait, the materials we use to build the bubble no matter what it is, is going to kill us. I grew up with a vinyl shower curtain and have used them my whole adult life.... As I have the plastics and baby bottles. If there is damage to be done then I have already sentenced my family to death by cancer..

yes all of this worries me, but what the hell are we going to do? When this shower curtain wears out I suppose I will opt for a natural fiber one. But I am not going to freak now and throw it out untill its life is over.

I understand and caution is not a bad thing, I am just getting so sick of the studies. You can make a study say pretty much anything you want. Everything is good for us and everything is bad. If things are done in moderation, thats the key. I say if you want to change shower curtains, you certainly should. I just hate the mass paranoia that comes from these studies.

There may be some cloth liners out there, though I haven't seen one. I think I'm going to have a look for one that has been waterproofed without using plastic vinyl.

I still hate the plastic shower curtain, but we bought it because it was cheap, back when Money was a little tighter than it is now.

My mom uses one that feels almost like cotton, and I really should ask her where she got it from. I miss having a shower cubicle with doors. My partner manages to splash water everywhere on the bathroom floor, no matter how many times he makes sure the curtain is shut properly.

I told my partner and he said that we'll have to wait till our shower curtain is ready for replacing before he thinks about it.

Honestly though, I find it worrying. When they say that Shower curtain are toxic, it makes me wonder what's going to be next.

We used plastic shower curtains most of our lives too, and so far we seem to be doing okay (If you discount our craziness lol)

Oh, thanks for that Sea Salt tip! I didn't know that. Though I should have done, I use Sea Salt to cleanse some of my crystals and Gem stones.

I wanted to change our Shower curtain right away, but my partner put his foot down and said it'll have to wait till it's ready to be replaced. Other things take precedence over a new shower curtain right now.

There are a lot of claims out there these days. It's actually kinda frightening, because it's going to start getting to the point where people are going to be too scared to eat off the plates they own.
