People need help....Fast!!! |

Hi all:) I have a very important, for me, question! I want to know your opinion about my Idea: - In my country are lots of boys and girls that know very bad or even don't know the English language and lots of them want to improve their abilities but the courses cost lots of money and many can't afford that kind of money! - knowing that I came up with an Idea of making a free "English speaking club". We simple people will gather somewhere and will lose time learning from each other this interesting language! What do you think about this Idea??? And if you hear about this club, what will be the chances of joining it??? Please tell me what you think about it:) Thanks a lot:) koop

1. vicneedscoffee (879) | 4 months ago | I'm from the US so I speak english, but I have been wanting to learn another language. If someone came to me with that idea I would definitely join. It's a great idea. It's always easier to learn by doing. And by having other people in the club you will correct each others' errors. So go for it, I hope you find lots of people to join your group. By the way, your english seems pretty good to me.

2. karmendra (643) | 4 months ago | i think it is a good idea. some time before i tried for that type of club but in my country people don't believe in that type of experiment. the can spend their money for some nonsense type of coaching classes and want to lean as soon as possible.. i guess you are from India, if you don't mined i want to join your club, if it possible you can give me the updates of your club in future.. i want to give you a suggestion, use some entry fee for you club, because people don't respect the things which are free of cost.. or you can use some particular criteria for the entry.

4. Neriz69 (726) | 4 months ago | I think that is a very noble thing to do. Keep it up. You may also want to open a blog account and invite English speaking people for other countries to help you out and in exchange they may want to learn you language too.

5. Zergonipal (638) | 4 months ago | I think that's a good idea, but be sure to bring a good book with you. Some mistakes can be made even in the group. I think that everyone who like language studies should join such club, it's a great idea.

6. SamQuinn (761) | 4 months ago | I think it's a great idea! English is my native language, but I've studied German, Spanish and Italian. Both German and Spanish I studied in school, but Italian I learned on my own as I lived in Italy. The thing I really missed was the chance to practice both speaking the language, and learning to understand the spoken language. I think actual conversation does more towards to incrasing your understanding than any other way of studying. I wish you luck with your group! Make sure someone has a good dictionary (or dictionaries if you have different native languages). I would expect your group to be very successful!

7. Desierra1004 (433) | 4 months ago | Hie Koop, that's a good deed you are doing and a wonderful idea. English is my second language and I studied it with Malay language since I was young. And I love the thought of learning other languages as it is great thing and a lot of advantages. I would join if there is a club like this over here. I still remember back in the school days, getting a credit in English and Malay is a compulsory so what my friends and I did was if I was with my Chinese friends, we make sure we don't speak in Chinese but English instead. And with my Malay friends, I spoke Malay with them and they in return spoke in English to me. So it was fun making a lot of funny mistakes and we laughed, joke about it but we did learn a lot. And my parents would buy newspapers in both languages especially on Sundays. Even at home, I speak a lot of English & Malay because I was staying in a neighborhood of multi races. But of course with them, a lot of broken English and Malay was spoken...lol The most effective way I believe is don't be afraid of speaking it out loud, and use it in every chance you get in your daily conversations. It's ok if people laugh at you as this will make you improve further. Newspapers is a very good tool and it does not cost much. And I think it's good if you could start off in your club with it. And like most of the Mylotters had said earlier - should have a dictionary with you. Another person who is well verse in the language to sit in, sort of an observer and resource person. Good luck to you and Cheers,
