Have you ever thought about or actually moved to another country?

When I was about 1 year old, we went to live with my dad in the united arab emirates. It was a nice place to grow up in but it would get so boring at times. We were often confined in our apartment since it'd would get scorging hot especially during the summer. I moved back to the Philippines right before my junior year. United Arab Emirates is more of a home to me than my own country but a lot has change during the last 8 years and I don't think I'd move back there or anywhere. It's hard to adjust to a new environment again.

I don't remember that move to Italy to much but I do remember that mom said that we all got really sick and that the doctor said that it was the change in atmosphere. I was only 2, so I can't really remember it...

If I had to choose to move to another counrty, it would definitely be England. I love the oldness of it and the history there. I just find it so fascinating. Sadly, I have yet to visit there but hopefully someday. Right now, I have to remain content with what I read of it in books and things like that:-(

My partner and I are both 'foreigners' where we have chosen to live. I don't get 'homesick' at all, but there are certainly challenges attached to living somewhere other than your home country which sometimes leave me wondering if life wouldn't be easier if I just went home!

I thought about staying in the USA. As a British national I thought I would be welcomed but when I was there I found so many bureaucratic obstacles. In the end the only way to do it was illegally and I didn't want to fall into this category. In the end I gave up. I think that Russians, Arabs, Chinese and Pakistanis find it much easier.

it is one of my plan to move to another country because of the economic crisis we are facing now here. My girl friend and I agree that we must go abroad and live but as of now a little confuse how we can do that. i am still a student and she is working right now a government office but her father want her first to continue her studies in a law school. we are evaluating our decision right now, hope we can come the the best decisions that we won't regret.
