| Did You Fly Your Colors Today?  | | | |  Today is Flag Day in the United States.
As a rule I put my flag up the weekend before Memorial Day and leave it up through July 4. I have Tiki lights to ensure that it doesn’t fly in the dark.
It’s a beautiful flag, and many lives were given to keep the United States free. I think we should proudly display it on every national holiday, but that’s one man’s opinion.

I don't fly it all year long, every day, because it requires a ladder to put it up and take it down ... and also flying it every day tends to make it (for me) less special. You get so accustomed to it that it loses the impact. | | | |

| |  Oh ok its high up, my parents had the mounting on the side of the house by the front door, didnt have to climb to get to it, that would be a very good reason to not put it up all the time lol.
