Killing in self defence is not a crime  | |  Today as I was reading the newspaper, I was pertty relieved to read that if you harm or kill someone who is out to harm you, rape you, or to protect your porperty, you are not termed as a criminal so long as you can prove your point. A lady who was about to be raped took a log of wood and hit him hard on the head. He died. She gave herself up to the police. However the judge proclaimed her innocent, as it was totally in self defence. Thank God for that. Now I believe there are aerosols which can be pumped into the assailants eyes for self defence too.

She was only defending herself and did not intentionally kill the man. He should not have neen there anyway and he wouldn't have died like that.You can spray peoples eyes but that still won't stop alot of them. I would have whacked him the head or worse than that too if I was that lady.

| | 3.  sminut13 (891) | 2 years ago |  it's good to know that she was judged innocent. as said, we are only protecting ourselves. if due to that, the assailant is killed, it's unintentional. i don't think we should be killers or criminals just because they died accidentally while we're in the act of protecting ourselves. i don't think i would see any logic in that.
