Grandpa Bob, yes, I will add your "interest", but I wasn't in on the beginning of it as I was on this one, so it had been there a while before I saw it. But, as I said, how could I turn down something as enticing as the Jersey shore being a Jersey girl myself!!

As long as you can also enjoy the shores of Minnesotas "Land of 10,000 Lakes". That is the State slogan here and there are more than 10,1000. Plus we have the Mighty Mississippi River with some lovely banks for swimming, BBQing or plain old sight seeing. Hope ya joined mine as well jerz. Thanks in advance. HAHAHAHA! Here is one of the largest lakes here in Minnesota. Lake Minnetonka.

There is no competiton when it comes to the ocean or a lake Grandpa. None.

The picture is from Atlantic City, which was really gross and dirty, but did not change my opinion of the glorious water! I love the ocean!

I thought it looked south, being as the beach is so dingy looking (gotta thank all that crap that floats down from NYC, ha ha!), but I see it's none other than Atlantic City! With Trump buying the Steel Pier, there's not going to be any reason to go there, except to gamble, and since Philly's just 13 miles away, I'm willing to spring the $3 toll since it's still cheaper than the AC Expressway (tolls) and all that gas!

My apartment is at the base of the Walt Whitman, but I stay with my mother down in Gloucester County. I thought it looked more north because it seemed like it was a rockier coastline. Guess I didn't get as good a look as I thought, huh?? Yeah - our water's dirty dirty! Even way back - I can remember the sky ride in AC going out over the water, which was cool at high tide, but at low tide - nothing but jelly fish!! LOL And, I will miss Steel Pier. He will destory it (not that someone hasn't already tried twice). I remember the diving horse and I saw a couple concerts there, all the rides, etc. The boardwalk was TOPS!! Wildwood was next, but we mostly spent our vacay in Town Bank, just north of Cape May on the bay.

Oh, and bridge tolls are going up to $5, but I don't know when. I knew when the upped the Delaware Memorial, DRPA would jump on the band wagon, too. I mean, they need more money to donate to worthy causes, right? Who cares about bridge maintenance!! LOL
