Do you like to drive with the windows down?

Since I have no ac and its 107 today..i always have my windows down weather i like it or not..now in the winter i roll them up and it stays warm for me

Little kids love that kind of stuff!
We drive with our car windows at least
half way down to save money on gas.

I know! I know! I'm always the party pooper
bringing up the money saving aspects of
everything.

But when you can suggest a free
way to make money grow on trees, I'll switch on
the AC and cruise in style!

Oh, I'm a wiindows down girl. Especially in the rain. One night, taking a break from a roadtrip, I sat on the edge of my Jeep and smoked a cigarette. I don't know why I smoke, I hate the smell. As careful as I was, the smell got into the Jeep.
(I never smoke inside my house or in my vehicle)

Anyhow, the temp was below 50 degrees and it was raining and dark! I opened my windows anyhow and let the cold rainy air blast through the Jeep with my hair flying around me. When I got too cold, I put the windows up. Fifteen minutes later, down they went again. I had so much fun and the smoke smell got blown away.

I use the heat with the windows open and the air with the windows open. I don't drive enough to worry about how bad this is for gas mileage. I will pay attention on the next road trip though, because I feel like I'm living in sci-fi paying all this money for gas.

Well I had better seeing I own a convertable lol. I love the top down and my hair blowing in the wind feels so freeing.

Most summer days I drive with the windows up and the air con on.
With the heat we have here, I am not worried about my hair being blown away.
I am worried about it being burnt off.
To drive without the air con going is like driving around in a big oven.

Our weather is hit or miss--the last two days though...WOW! Sunny, not too warm and nearly zero HUMIDITY! I'm using my dad's convertible right now, but haven't spent enough time in the car to justify putting the top down--maybe this weekend my daughter and I can take a drive (she'll be out of town on her birthday the following weekend).

I'm also fortunate--right now my hair's not much longer than Kate's, so there's not much to muss! But I've got contacts, so I've got to be careful with all the dirt flying in the air! And because the car has leather seats, I have to put the top up at the first sign of rain!

Now you and Kate get out there and enjoy the wind whipping your hair around! That's an order!

Yep, I twist my hair up pile it on top of my head with a pencil, pen or scrunchie and let the air blow in my face. My husband when I first met him drove a motorcycle, I have always fancied the freedoms of motorbikes and convertibles,,,, Blow me away!

We drive with them down as our air does not work in our vehicles. Sometimes it is ok and others it does nothing to help cool you off.

There is nothing that feels any better than to feel the warm or cool breeze blowing through your hair.. I can't take it if it is too hot or too cold but some days are just right, almost perfect for driving with the windows down.. I bet Kate loves it also..

Hello Katesmama, I also love driving with open windows, makes me feel so fresh and breath so good..LOL! Even if it's too hot, we don't really care since we always love the fresh air!
