So what is it about Lingerie?  

I like having the silk against my skin. I think it feels comfortable and it makes me feel sexy. For my boyfriend he likes the way it feels when he holds me or when we cuddle. I think he also likes the way it clings to my shape haha.

Before I was with my husband it was something nice I could do just for me. I would spend a little extra money on something particularly cute and know that it was all for me. It was my own indulgance and it had the advantage over food indugences of not making me gain weight. :)

Why dont you go do the right thing & go buy some silk lingeie or whatever its called,put it on & find out fur yerself.That would be such a splendid idea,yes Loud you got it...
Me i wear thongs, & a bra of course,no clue what they are made of but hey they are smooth,real smooth..makes me feel comfy,i aint into big mama stuff,no offence to the larger ladies.

I wear "lingerie" for shock value and am much happier seeing it rolled up in a ball on the floor then I am while I am strapped, buckled, and squeezed into it. 90% of my bras and panties do not match and I buy those things for comfort and functionality not "hey baby look at this".

I will never be one of those women who puts on the matching bra and panties with the thigh high nylons and the garter belt and a pair of heels. Really who has that kind of time?

I look just as good in a pair of bikini briefs and a sports bra as I do in a lace demi bra and thong. But regardless of what I'm wearing it always ends up in the same place....rolled in a ball on my bedroom floor.

I feel I may be the wrong person to ask this question.

I never buy sexy expensive Lingerie Pikey.
I buy just plain ole cotton knickers.

Lets face it, who is going to see my knickers.

Hi pikey, I think it makes us feel sexy and look sexy. It reveals a lot of skin and I would think a man would be attacted to that. At least on all the commercials they are or my husband seems to be. I know if actuality my hubby prefers me in nothing even if i go out and buy something sexy as soon as we get in bed its off anyhow, so the only point to me is to get Us in the mood maybe.

I like it for that reason and it feels nice. But I don't wear it that often. Let's face it, it stays on for about 5 seconds and your in your birthday suit anyway.

I'm one of those women who don't get a big kick out of lingerie. Of course, when I think lingerie, I'm also thinking of sexy sheer (or perhaps even lacy) garments that are not practical underwear by any means. They are to me, to be worn for a lover to turn them on, and to be worn to turn me on too. lol.

On the VERY rare occasion that I sport a lingerie item, it does make me feel rather sexy. But being the practical person I am, I don't indulge in much, because I know they won't be left on for long anyways. Besides, I much prefer direct skin to skin contact with my lover.

I recently bought a lingerie babydolls outfit. It's mostly sheer, with a built in bra (something I really need lol), and came with a matching sheer g-string. I haven't worn it yet, but mentioned it to my lover the other night. Perhaps I'll remember to sport it on Wednesday night when he's over, and see how it makes me feel, and see what his reaction to it is (if any).

If you feel good you look good and having luxurious undergarments certainly make a woman feel good, not only that we were bought up by our mums to always have decent underwear in case anything ever happened and you wouldn't want to be carted off in grey cotton undies now would you LOL. If I ever buy a new outfit it will include new underwear to match it is a definite must and if in a relationship the sexier the underwear the sexier a woman feels. Ellie :D

As a 50 year old woman, I'd never cared much about the state of my knickers and just bought plain, functional cotton ones. Then I won a set of really gorgeous, glamorous lingerie, and for some strange reason, when I put it on I felt marvellous! Even though I was wearing it under my usual old trackpants and t-shirt, it was amazing how nice I felt. So, it's probably a psychological thing ... but I felt as if I had a nice secret nobody else knew!
