A Little Dab Will Do You ... or a HUGE GLOB?

But if we, as women, continue to listen to the ones who say we NEED all that fake stuff, then we are the ones that are lacking in brains as well as 'beauty'.

The majority of it is toxic to us, the skin being the largest organ of the body. All that stuff seeping into ones skin must then be processed by ones liver. Ever looked into the many many types of liver disease that are ravaging the populace?

Let's just task our internal organs to the max, die young and leave a BEE-YOU-TI-FUL corpse! NOT ME! I WILL grown old with grace and dignity and in my natural state! ;) If the media don't like it they can kiss my ample un-anorexic buttocks! LOL!

I dont wear the stuff, as I stated, so I should have my liver for a good long time.

Do you have a gun in your truck Rj? lol That would be America's version of a REAL guy. Frankly I think that sucks! LOL Give me a guy with a little polish and class any day.

I think Irish makes a very good point. Women without makeup are just a beautiful because it's not really the PAINT that defines a real woman, but the heart that beats inside.

If you rj are disappointed in the unpainted vision, then I fear for the depth of your soul. Shallow water there my friend?

I guess my disappointment in the unpainted version comes from the fact that I've only seen the painted versions on the screen and on TV.

Then I land on this page that reminds me that what I've been seeing all along isn't the real thing. Sure, I was disappointed to see them "in the raw," so to say.

That doesn't mean that women who don't wear makeup are not beautiful. Most likely with makeup they'd be glamourously beautiful. This is the version the gals in the package have displayed over the years. It doesn't take a shallow person to notice the difference between the two versions.

Kinda reminds me of a joke I heard many years ago. This guy marries the girl of his dreams. On their wedding night as she's getting ready to crawl into bed, she stands at the dresser, removes her makeup. Then off come the false eyelashes. Next, her teeth plop into a fizzing glass. As she begins to twist her right arm with her left (the right arm was artificial), her new hubby yells to her, "Yo! When you get to the part I'm interested in, just toss it over here!"

Nah, my soul is deeper than that, but you must admit that when you compare the pictures, there's little chance the "makeupless" version would probably never get a role in a film.

Glad to know your waters run deeper than it sounded. And I can certainly identify with disappointment between pictures and reality! The first time I met a celebrity up close and personal (doing publicity photos) the first words out of my mouth were
"Sh*t, Hollywood magic does you more justice than you deserve!"I got fired.*sigh*

Irish, you mentioned that Goldie is 62, adding what DOES one expect.

This image is a friend of mine, Doris, who is 75. I've been looking for this image and just found it.

Doris has worn the same hairstyle all her life. The only makeup she wears is a bit of lipstick. She stays clear of all the other junk.

Possibly Hawn looks older (much older) than Doris is due to lifestyle. Hollywood partying, booze, smoking, none of which Doris does, can take a toll on one's looks. Not so?

Oh yes, definately, see above post. Shining from the lovely eyes of Doris, I can see she is ungoverned by 'mans' opinion of what she should look and be like. I still feel sorry for those who crave the 'limelight' so much that they seek such a plastic standard of being and thus place themselves in subjection to a no longer adoring public as they age and can no longer live up to that same standard.

I hope and pray someday to be as lovely as Doris.
