Favourite type of cake

There is this cake shop close to where I live that makes a cake called a "Strawberry Swirl" in which they blend in an almost strawberry jam-like material to the batter. It tastes amazing. We get one for almost every occasion that needs a cake.

I don't like chiffon cakes...There was a time I thought all cakes are made like that and I hated eating cakes. I feel like eating a sponge overly decorated with icing. I love chocolate cakes but not the baked as chiffon.

My favorite kinds are chocolate cake with strawberries and carrot cake with chocolate! They're delicious!! :) I used to bake them often, but now I only buy them for someone's birthday!

Hey there Neely! Just dropped by to say hello again. My all time favorite? It's Chocolate Mousse! The frosting and the mousse (dunno if that's what it's called) it's just, really, feels like, waaaaa, its intense. I dunno exactly what the ingredients are since I buy them at a specific bake shop. It started out when I was a kid. I was curious what it tastes like with those 3 layers and the chocolate on top of it. Most of the time, and if I have extra money to spare, when we pass by the shop (The name is Goldilocks Bake Shop) I take out a slice or two.

Chocolate fudge cake is my favourite all time cake. It has to be served heated and with a little ice cream too to top it off!! I cannot make my own cake - or I could if I wanted to but it's never as good as shop bought so I stick to that or my husband makes a really amazing one too so every so often he buys all the stuff and makes it from scratch!! Mmmmmmm!

My very favorite cake is orange sponge cake with orange frosting...(my mouth is watering just thinking about it!) Gosh, my mom used to make me that cake every year for my birthday. The cake mix was bought at the store and it is no longer available so I have been searching for a cake recipe that is similar so I can make one from scratch.

i guess i don't have a all time favourite cake. but currently my favourite cake is carrot cake by cedele depot bakery which is in singapore and malyaysia. it is moist and healthy since there are tiny carrot strips inside. it's not too sweet but the icing can be sweet. some people don't eat the icing cos of health reasons but that is one of my favourite parts since i have a sweet tooth.

I always love carrot and chocolate cakes. Recently, I discovered choco-carrot cake made by "Chocolat". I don't bake so basically, I buy all the cakes I've been eating for years :-) I wanna try to bake but I am afraid I might just mess it up so I just buy them.

Ice cream cake is pretty good. But I kind of have to be in the mood for eating that. I really like red velvet cake with chocolate and vanilla frosting combined. And yellow cake with cream cheese frosting is good too. Also I like when my aunt adds things to cakes, like chocolate chips or sprinkles in the cake itself. The sprinkle effect is cool because after the cake is done it has different colored dots in the middle, lol.

Mine is carrot cake with cream cheese icing. I usually buy the mix in the box. Someday I'd like to try making one from scratch. I usally make it a few times a year, mostly in the fall, it makes the house smell great.

Red Velvet or any kind of chocolate. I seldom make cakes these days.

I like pine apple upside down cake and black forest cake. I don't make it but i buy it regularly. I don't know how to make cake as yet so sorry I can't share any recipes.

Choclate cake is my favorite because i am a choclate lover it tastes nice and i like the choclate flavour very much as well as i prefer to eat which consists of smooth bread

My favourite is chocolate cake.

I love cake. I love chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I love carrot cake with that white cream frosting. I have only made chocolate cake with chocolate frosting once. It was about a month ago and the frosting recipe called for frozen cool whip and 6 squares of semi-sweet chocolate; microwave and that's it. I did everything as told but mine still didn't come out right. It tasted bitter, and you couldn't taste any of the sweetness of the cool whip. It was really bad. I ended up adding a ton of sugar to it to get it sweeter but it was still pretty bad. I would rather buy cake or have someone else's cake--someone who knows what they are doing--not me.

My favourite cake is chocolate cake. Especially if it is a very gungy chocolate cake. My problem is that I'm allergic to dairy. So I can't buy shop bought cakes. I always make my own cakes so I'm certain that I won't get a reaction. I try different recipes I find on the internet really. I just substitue ingredients I can't eat for ones I can. I have had disasters but most of the time they work out fine!
