5 year old tortured by mother, how does this happen????  | |  I happened on this story online and I am stunned

It doesn't help that I have a little boy almost the same age, but even if I didn't, who could do this? It's just shameful. It even crossed my mind that the fact that these women are gay in addition to being MENTALLY ILL might have influenced the decisions they made about the torture (burning his genitals).
Let me be clear - I am in no way shape or form a gay basher. I believe in everyone's choice to love who they love. I just wondered if their homosexuality in addition to their clear mental issues affected the manifestation of the torture of this little boy.
Regardless of the motivation, who could do this? Why have a child unless you want to love it and care for it? I am sickened by this story. I am absolutely stunned by the evidence of the cruelty of human beings. I pray for this little boy.

Give it up for adoption.. anything. That poor kid is going to be scarred for life. It sickens me. A burn is the most painful injury you can get. This is a horrid story, and i hope these people spend the rest of thier lives in prison. I also pray that this little boy gets the treatment he deserves .. with a loving family and a nice home. Hopefully he can live a pretty normal life after this. this is so bad.:(
