Well, see, as this is Mylot, and time zones being no issue here, generally, the party is happening when you get to it, not the other way around. Yes, I'll poor you a brew, and I'll put a good head on it, and save it for when you've worked up a thirst.

I like a good head on my beer and I am sure you provide a one to be envied. Real ale doesn't usually come with one, so maybe I should switch to regular, like a John Smiths or something of similar ilk.

I wish she would have served, I blew the head I was working on trying to get back to the party.

I think her being Scottish may be the root cause of the problem. If you'd asked for anything other than Tennents lager or Scotch whisky, she may have been buggered.

It means we have to go to a state ran store to buy the hard stuff. We can buy beer and wine at the grocery stores, and small packages at gas stations. But not licker. Where I'm from, you could buy anything you wanted anywhear with a license--which they did not give to retail stores around schools.

Hmm.... you would hate PA even worse then. We have state run licker (can't believe I'm not allowed to spell this word properly) stores. AND you can't buy beer or wine at the grocery stores. Wine is sold at the licker stores and beer is sold at beer stores.Very annoying having to make multiple stops for my licker runs!
