Its Saturday, Are you going grocery shopping today?

I did my grocery shopping yesterday. I typically always do the shopping on Fridays.
Today I plan to do a lot of baking. That is my typical saturday routine. This week I'm making double the usual to freeze, as I'm having surgery on Tuesday and don't know when I'll be up for baking again.

As i got money 2 days ago,I done some grocey shopping today.
And tomorrow I shall buy the rest

I don't usually make a special trip out for groceries on Saturday. I tend to call into one of the bigger supermarkets and stock up on my way home from work. I don't have a set day. This week, I went on Tuesday as I knew I would not be able to go to work for a few days so we did have to nip out for bread, milk and veg today

Nope. I usually end up shopping on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I try to avoid shopping on the weekends cause the stores are so crowded. I do one big shop at the beginning of the month then I only shop if we need milk or bread or whatever. I make my menus out for 3 weeks at a time so we know what we are eating for breakfast lunch and dinner that way I can shop accordingly.

hi Diane, our grocery shopping days are Monday (or Tuesday if we have stocked up well the week before) and Friday.
On Monday some of our supermarkets offer stuff near the sell by date cheaper and we can save quite a sum using these things up.
And Saturday the shops are much too crowded and we try to avoid shopping then.

Never! The stores are always soooo crowded on Saturdays, and thinking about going into the stores for a weekly trips during the weekend gives me the willies! We usually go around 10 o'clock in the evenings when the store has pretty much cleared out. It's quiet, still stocked, and much less stressful.

Yes that is our plan for this morning. I find superstore a stressful place to shop but hubby is in a fantastic mood today, as he got a nice size pay cheque so he offered to go grocery shopping with me usually unheard of but today he is so I'd better be ready. Have a Great Day. I know I will.

Yes, I always do this thing in saturday!

However, sometimes I will go shopping in Friday evening,then I could sleep later in saturday and enjoy the delicious sock!

I would prefer to go to the store either later in the evening or on a Sunday. Don't have to be annoyed with the large crowds later in the day or early evening. My mother-in-law use to say everything was picked over by evening but I don't find it to be that way at all. We shop at a larger store so they must have an overabundance of stock. Most of the time my husband does the shopping since he loves it. He put himself through college as a grocery store checker so he loves the atmosphere.

I usually grocery shop on Saturday mornings, but I actually went last night. It was raining out and the store was empty. It was nice, but I'm guessing it's not a big night for them because the shelves were really poorly stocked.
