I think that there is no guarantee that the Miami will make big this coming NBA season. Any team for that matter. I don't know much about what is happening in the NBA after the Finals 2008 but I'm pretty sure that all teams are trying to maintain a good team if not in the process of improving their current line up. In any way, the real test will be known when the NBA 2009 will start. Let's wait and see if the choice of your Miami Heat is a good move!

It will make a big impact, that's for sure, what with all the mediocre players the Miami Heat are dressing up in their uniforms last season. They need talent, something they really lacked last year, and they'll get it in Michael Beasley. He's a proven scorer, albeit not in the ultimate stage that is the NBA, and he's pick up some slack behind players such as Shawn Marion and Udonis Haslem. The only problem is that the Heat's needs are in the center and point guard position, and Beasley's a forward. I was kind of hoping the Heat would get to pick Derrick Rose or choose OJ Mayo over Beasley, or they would pick Beasley and trade him for a couple of good guards, because that's just where they have a shortage of. They know they really couldn't depend on Chris Quinn to start for them and play major minutes and win a lot of games all at the same time, and they couldn't depend on Jason Williams to play half the season, let alone 82 games.

Again, they need a point guard and a center, and if they couldn't address it on draft day, they need to address it via the free agency.

i don't think that a rookie can make a team who didn't even win 20 games any better than what they did last season. Who really knows what type of season that they are going to have. Who knows if Dwayne Wade is gonna be better than the sub-par performance that he had last season and who said his shoulder will be 100%. Who said Shawn Marion is gonna like the way that the team is even though he is getting a lot of playing time. I don't see why he wanted to leave Phoenix because he wanted to be in the spotlight. That is ridiculous. Who says Michael Beasley is gonna be able to adjust to the NBA level and that he will be 100% healthy.
