Print the pictures on the lab same as manufacturer of digital camera

What you say is true for printing your own photos on your computer. If you are using a HP printer and Ink then use HP paper. The paper is designed to go with the printer and Ink. If you are using a lab they are set up for their ink, printer and paper. I would say you get what you pay for. If you are paying $0.08 per print that is what you will get. I think you will get the same results if you use Kodak Lab or Fuji Lab. I use a professional Lab, a sub division of a larger commercial photo lab, Called Mpix (www.mpix.com) I get excellent results and get a heaver paper sharper colors and longer lasting photos. Their 4x6 photos are more expensive but their larger sizes are cheaper and better than the 1 hr photo, or the Large chain stores. I also have many more options over the size and the cropping of the photos.
