Russia warns the west . . .  | |  Against any attack on Iran. I am not really happy with the prospect of another war in another mid-east country. What I am wondering though is why Russia is so concerned about this. If I remember correctly they also "warned" everybody about Iraq and Afganistan. Could they be putting oil money ahead of security?

| | | | | | | | 1.  mensab (3383) | 4 months ago |  i think russia is trying to act as a counter-power to the west. for me, the world needs a counter power to the US and NATO. what happened to iraq should not happen again where a sovereign country was invaded due to the allegations of possessing weapons of mass destructions which turned out to be non-existent. imagine the world if there is only one group which can do anything without restraint. i appreciate what russia is doing because it causes us to pause and rethink.

I think they are so desperate to still be relevant today they are willing to look stupid trying. They really should be focused on helping their people and being strong that way.
