Is this show getting cruder and cruder by the episode?

Probably, most shows do get cruder and nastier as they go along; especially when they've had a few seasons and their ratings are going down or the writers have run out of clever ideas.
This show passed me by with the first couple of episodes. That smart-*ss baby just makes me want to puke.

Which, of course, is part of the show's appeal, seeing how often they're willing to 'go there' and push the envelope on what's permissible. That, and horribly belabouring jokes far beyond the point they were funny to pad out an episode (I'm thinking of ten minute fights with a guy in a chicken suit, for one).

The sad thing is, it's one of the funniest things on television even so, which probably says more about the other shows than it.

Oh I agree - I think thats why I like it so much. They really push there limits, the writers really walk a FINE line. Its a show that you know is going to cross bounderies and what better way then to have a "cartoon" say it. No one can really get mad a Peter Griffin! I mean what can they do erase him!? LOL sorry that was a dumb joke. But the realty is real people couldn't say or do a lot of what they have this cartoon do. I really do love it - crude, cruder or crudest its awesome!

ohh yea ireckon earlier episodes are wayy betta that the later ones i think the writers are running out of ideas its just becoming sad

It dose seem like they are pushing the envelope more so now than they ever used to. I would guess it is because they feel secure enought in their position on fox's sunday night line up that they can do or say just about anything and get away with it, and they have the ratings to back them up.

Everytime I watch an episode I can't believe it's cruder than the last. I don't think there is a tv show, movie, race, etc... left for them to make fun of, then I watch a new episode and yup they did it again, and i love it.

They make fun of everything and everybody so no one can really be offended can they.
