How many roles do you play in one day?

I am a grandmother, mom, mother in law and student, I am then a babysitter, teacher, housekeeper, and cook. I have some days I do not know if I am coming or going. Or lets not forget chaffer ' to my grandson' he has boyscout, summer school, martial arts' I help my son with his paper route at 2 am daily. I sometimes, when I am able to get time for myself, Lets not forget friend, sister, cousin and aunt, lol

Life keeps me on my toes, My favorite time is when I am sleeping and when I am relaxing. I must say I love being with my friends and family, however, breaks are great.

Wow! You have alot going on around your household! I dont know how you handle all that, I think I would be so exhausted 24/7!

Not really that much busy as you were, I am dutiful son to my parent, and still i live with them.. look after the needs of them...as long as i go to office..and will be an honest Insurance employee..and every now and then inquiring about the stock market situation.. sometimes i act as an investor, but on most occasions i act as an financial advisor.. helping others to make money in the worst marketing conditions.

Interesting question - definitely interesting way to analyze a day! Let's see.....

1) a daughter first of all, living in Mom's house as her
2) caretaker - preparing her meds and meals making me also the
3) cook. But, I do our laundry as well so I'm the
4) washer woman. While I'm in the basement doing laundry, I feed my cats, so I'm a
5) pet owner. Then I go online and become an
6) Internet junkie. The phone rings, it's my daughter, and suddenly I'm
7) the mother who is being asked for a favor. The phone rings again and it's my friend looking for advice, so now I'm a
8) counselor; but I've just been to the Vocational Rehab office seeking my own advice, so I'm also
9) a client. Then I call in my prescriptions and go back to being
10) a patient. When I go to the store or the pharmacy for my mother I'm the
11) courier. Taking the leftover breads and vegetables out to the birds makes me a
12) bird feeder/recycler. Taking my mother to dinner or to her doctor's appt., I become the taxi driver.
13) I'm grandma when my son calls and puts the kids on the line.
14) I'm maintenance when I tighten the bolt holding the toilet seat on or put the screw back in the screen door hinge.
15) I'm a mechanic when I have to check my car's fluid levels and replace the head lights.

Wow - I guess I have more reason to be exhausted than I thought!!! LOL

I do have varied roles within a day. It is kinda hard but thanks God i am able to manage it. I have no complains because I decided for it. It was my choice and so I am just fulfilling it.
