Removing eye make up can cause wrinkles?

ive never heard of this happening.. but i could be wrong. iknow NOT removing it can dry yer skin out.. which is ultimately what causes wrinkles.. so id say after removing it.. moisturize. vaseline is a girls best friend

As old fashioned as this may sound the BEST option still is COLD CREAM such as POND'S or other brands. My grandmother used it ALL her life and she passed away at 96 she still looked like she was in her late 50's (may the good Lord rest her soul). Anyway, this is definitely a better alternative than anything else that I can think of. Hope I have been of some assistance.

Use a cotton ball soaked with almond oil or olive oil
to remove eye make up.

It won't pull delicate skin and it will
leave the area nicely moisturized!

You might also use witch hazel
which is more astingent like a toner.

Wipe off excess.

Use caution around eye area closest to
the eye, as it may sting if you get any
in the eye.

Ever since I read that the tissues around the eyes do not have muscles and can easily wrinkle I often go without eye make-up.
The best way to minimize wrinkle forming when removing make up is to use a proper eye make up remover and the lightest touch, being careful not to use force to pull the skin. Apparently if you drag the delicate tissue (because of the absence of muscle), over time it will sag and you will notice the fine lines forming.

I think it can cause wrinkles. So you need to use a makeup remover specifically formulated for the eye area. It will provide more nourishment and will be gentler than ordinary makeup removers. I guess you also need to be more gentle yourself. Avoid pulling at the corners of your eyes and just take some extra time to remove mascara and eye liner as these tend to stick to the skin.
