I wonder why fresh ground coffee makes you sick?

I am a coffee junkie, and the fact that I drink and actually like instant seems to rub other coffee drinkers the wrong way. But, it works for me on many occasions. I just always forget how good real coffee tastes once I start drinking it.

My day is going fine...it's only 9:30. I won't be attending fireworks tonight. They are boring and I hate crowds. I'll hang with you Brits if that's okay?

I don't know but it feels like someone is scraping the inside of my stomach with a blunt knife! My other dislike in the coffee department is cream. Give me milk, preferably skimmed within a % of its life. Yes, please hang with us. I don't know what we will be doing, probably starting a few fireworks of our own.

Yes, as a matter of fact, the last time I checked, my chain was in China. I think it needs to be yanked back! LOL

I know, Starbucks is really crazy expensive. It used to be a staple, now it's just a treat...once a week if that, and usually not that often.

Tim Horton's is primarily a Canadian chain, kimbers, but I have heard there are some in certain parts of the US.

I love SBC, but I don't know if I have tried the breakfast blend. I can't ever find any SBC here in North Carolina.

I will have to keep my eye's open for Tim's.

Look at Target for SBC, I saw it there the other day. I didn't pick it up because I didn't have my $1.00 off coupon! LOL

I think I am going to make an iced coffee after dinner.

I just made a chocolate banana smoothie and put some coffee in it. It was darn good. LOL

I am actually on my way to Target in a few minutes. I'll check to see if I can find some SBC.

Hey, did you know Starbucks owns SBC? Though bought them out last year, I think.

I don't think I even knew there were one cup coffee makers, Zelo. The one I got, even though it says four cups, really only makes two full ones.

Yeap it's actually really cool. You use just the right amount of grinds are supposed to use these expensive small filters but instead she just takes the big ones that are really cheap and cuts them down to size.

There are also machines that are VERY expensive but you put the beans in the top and when you want a coffee it grinds the beans and then brews the coffee of your choice. A lot of convenience stores are using these now... a fresh cup of coffee every time. The one I saw even made hot chocolate.

I wish sometimes I wasn't such a coffee fan. It's one of my few true enjoyments in life, though.

Whatever floats your boat. I wish I didn't love cinnamon so much, it doesn't always agree with me.

I love my grinder nerdytina! Once you start using it, you'll want to use it all the time.

I always want to get the foofy stuff too when I go to coffee shops. Frappuccios, lattes, etc. Once in a while I splurge now, but I don't go nearly as often as I used to.

Yup...LOL. There was a time when we made our own coffee, made calls from home phones, sent letters in the mail.

There was also a time when we only paid $1 for a gallon of gas. Those are the days I want back!

Hmmm....doesn't "solo" mean alone? What do you need her there for? Can't you wait a few hours until she sleeps it off? I know she's a lightweight and all, but she'll recover quickly enough.
