Hi OT, I love what you said about hair being a woman's crown, I think you are right. I am not in a mood for anything if I am not satisfied with my hair. I don't like anyone to touch it, and people like to feel my hair, because it's unusual. I still don't have photos of my new style, so no pic here, sorry.

Oh yes Natrak, I agree the feel of the hair is very important..I would love to see yours!
If the hair is stiff and hard with spray, then it does not feel good and we know how much the Husbands like the 'feel' of the hair LOL

Oh I can tolerate my husband's touching my hair, but I hate when someone else does. And I am always nervous when I have to go to the salon.

I will take your word for it, Angie, I have been blond just for few days years ago, and I hated it, just got hair cut after that. And that was the only time I was blond and had short hair. I will never do both again.
I like this dark now, I got used to it since yesterday, haha.

I think the best colour is close to hair's natural colour, but after few days I really feel great about my change. My natural colour was light brown red combination, it's really hard to remember right now, it was so long ago.

LOL...I agree that close to natural is the best...only my hair can't decide what color it wants to be so if I don't color it at all, after awhile it looks like a really bad dye job! It grows quite auburn at the nape of my neck but medium brown on top...and then it bleaches out in the sun for what few months of summer we get. If I leave it alone like that, by mid winter I look like I dyed the top half blond and let the dark roots grow in and dyed the underside red....not pretty!

Well, it seems to me that going darker with highlights are good idea for you. Anyway, just a suggestion.

Oooh, I've done the blond turn orange thing too! It's awful. When I accidentally wound up with purple and bleached it out I was left with light pink from the root to halfway down and then grayish-blue from there to the ends...except not in a fun and wild way, just in a "what did you do to your hair!" kind of way.

Hi Fixyfire, I have had purple too, my dad had a works do so like a good daughter I had bought a dress to wear but my hair was shocking pink at the time and he said you are not going with hair like that and bought me a black dye, I told him it would probably turn purple instead but he insisted LOL, the purple hair looked fantastic with the lilac trim on the dress, he couldn't say a word as I had done what I was told to do LOL. Ellie :D

I know most of men don't like to change hair colour, and I really don't like to see men with coloured hair, I think grey hair just ads to their charm. So don't colour it when you grow older.
You may have attracted many girls, but you are just not aware of it yet. You express yourself wonderfully, so it won't be a problem for you.

I like my hair, and I like to experiment with different styles, so it looks different every day, it's just the colour that was the same for years. Now I don't regret having this change, I needed some time to get used to it, that's all.
