Can your partner/spouse dance?

Now I am not on about ballroom or that sort of dancing. No, I am on about disco dancing, clubbing, parties that sort of dancing? I have to say that my hubby cannot dance to save his life, he has no rythym AT ALL. He puts me in mind of Mr Bean if you know who he is. When we go to anything where dancing is involved I will do my best NOT to dance with him! So, what about yours? Can you dance?

oh yeah.. mal can dance. somehow his and my bodies stay in sync to perfection. we dont do much of the club scene (fact weve only ever danced twice in public and that was at my brothers wedding and our own) but we do often crank up the music here at home and have at it. only slightly off topic here.. but ivenoticed that those who cant dance worth crap? are also extremely clumsy in bed as well

i don't know how to dance. but i'd love to learn how to. and i think it'd be cool to have a partner that not only knows how to dance but is good at it and loves it.

Lol, that is funny. I wish my partner would dance with me, still yet to find out if he knows how to dance. Been together almost two years now and have never seen him dance. I like to dance, but most of the time I will only dance if I have had a few drinks. I love to dance, it is great fun, I think I can dance alright.

Me too, lol, I think I am ace at dancing after a few drinks. I miss dancing, have not been out in a while. One day I will hopefully see my partner dance, when he has had a few drinks maybe. But he does not like to drink much so might be a while, lol.

When my husband and I first got together I was just getting out of my clubbing stage. I would go to the clubs 5 nights a week just to dance, I loved dancing, and still do, I just don't do it anymore. He came with me to the clubs a few times and it was just dreadful, because no, he can't dance, and he won't! And I felt foolish dancing alone with him watching.

I could go if I wanted, problem is it's really not as much fun as it used to be. Around here the clubs mostly have kids ages 18-20, so I'd be a bit old, lol. People my age go to bars, but bars are not geared towards dancing. There's really nowhere to go to just dance, and anyplace there is to go is swarmed by singles looking for a good time

My girlfriend can dance. Really dance. She actually have dance for a school presentation (which I hadn't watched, but only heard about it) called a Clash Dance which is very hit at that time. This is where two groups of dancers will show of their dancing skills with all the moves, stunts and lifting! Of course my girlfriend is the one lifted because she is petite. I too can dance but only if someone would teach me the steps. I can't dance on my own.

Just thinking about my hubby trying to dance is making me laugh. He will not do it. I have known him for three years and no dancing. He does like to play the air guitar though.

Mr Bean? Haha that's funny. My partner has a really funny dance that he does. He calls it spaghetti legs and he gets a really stupid look on his face when he's doing it. I think a lot of men don't have rhythm at all. I think it's safe to say that women are better dancers than men!

If it were still in the 70's then yeah I'd say he knows how to dance but it's not the 70's anymore so that type of dancing that he does it so out dated that is's horrible!! But I just laugh and dance right along with him because as long as he's having fun then I'm happy for him!!

No, he just shuffles to the music. And I try to keep up with him. We both try to keep from stepping on each others toes. However, the closeness (to a slow dance) is more important than keeping in step.

good day, My girl can sing beautifully and can dance as well. Contrary to me, I have to practice singing, well I'm getting the hang of it according to her but to dance, it's like teaching a dog to play a piano hahahaha. I can't really dance as if I'm genetically programmed not to dance. I have no rhythm as you've said it and my body is as hard as steel. My friend once told me I've got to let myself boil for 10 hours just to loosen my tendons and bones for dancing. It's good that even without these qualities and my fiancee having them, she still loves me. I try to make it up to her on ehem you know! and flavorful toppings of good sense of humor.

I had to laugh at your response and I am sure your fiance loves you whether you can dance or not!

Neither my husband nor I could do THAT sort of dance - we're in our 50s! My husband was a country boy, so he managed a reasonable waltz at our wedding - I was the one being dragged around!

Hi gemini, My husband can dance disco but not that good, we are just average..LOL! We also don't attend a lot of disco or clubbing..But, when we will be in a party, we manage it with our limited movements..LOL!
