Do accents make people more attractive?

im not really particular on the accent..im attracted to guys who are very neat on terms of clothing and with of course with good manners..

Oh yeah it sure does. I love those british and Australian accents. They are so beautiful. When they start talking, all I could hear in my head is twinkling music.

I think that hearing an accent can maybe attract your attention in the first instance; but there are many other factors that will ultimately determine if the person is attractive or not! Given that I travel a lot for work and have been based overseas in multiple countries for a few years now; I pretty much get to hear every accent imaginable! Some are better than others and I basically appreciate any accent that is well spoken really. In terms of most interesting accents though; I find Singaporean English to have a very unique accent! Same with South African. They are both very distinct and in my opinion immediately recognisable. I am an Australian and British citizen with an Aussie Father and a British Mother. Although I feel that my accent is more Australian (spent 30 years of my life in Australia); most people funnily enough initially think I am British?? I admit my accent is not anywhere near as strong as most Australians though.

Most of the time, since I could speak four languages I play with my accent most of the time and I can't determine if people find it attractive. Maybe for me I just use the proper accent for the proper language that I'm using.

Lol, I have to admit to loving my partners Canadian accent. We actually got together before I heard his voice (we met online), and so when I heard his accent over the phone for the first time, I literally swooned lol!

As for the hottest accents, I'd have to say either Canadian or Scottish. Scots I cannot understand a word they're saying, but I love their accent all the same, and Canadian, cuz well, I'm just biased lol.

Some accents are quite attractive I think, while others absolutely turn me off. If guys are from bergen, Norway, I really do not feel like getiing to know hem well, but if they are from Stavanger I am instantly more attracted to them. I know that a persons accent does not matte at all when judging if thay'd make a good partner but it is still part of the first impression they make on me. A guy from Bergen will have to work harder to make me want to take an intrest in him. Not good, I know, but that is how I feel. Extremely unfair

accent basically enhances your personality, it adds a charm to you. and definately it attracts people towards you. personally, for mee accent is very important. i get totally pissed off with the accent my friends or the near and dear ones speak. i am very particular about the accent of the people whom i talk to.

people that have this accent different from the ordinary crowd makes them interesting and so i guess that what makes them far attractive, i have a friend who loves foreign people because of their accent and she try to mimic it.

but for me accent alone is not a basis for a person to be considered attractive. personality is still the most important factor that makes me attracted to a certain person.

It's not so much about a man with an accent that attracts me, it is more the tone of voice and choice of words, but certain accents can have the opposite affect, I must say.
I don't think that looks alone can attract me either, but charming personality certainly can.

In my case, I do find it attractive if a guy has a nice accent. I like guys with British accents. I think a lot of girls feel the same way.=)
