Do accents make people more attractive?

Yes, depending on the accent.
Some movie stars used to to very well with French accents. Like Robert Goulet with his French and Maurice Chevallier as well.
Lots of people pick up accents when they travel. People in Trinidad love to hitch up with an English or American accent. They think it gives them a kind of social status.
I believe a soft French accent is good with a woman.
Recently the Latin accents are becoming more popular since there are lots more Latinos here in Trinidad now.

I do find an accent very attractive. I love to listen to men with a Scottish or Irish accent as well as French and Spanish. The only accent that I find really offputting is the sort of English accent that David Beckham has.

I have to admit I am a sucker for men with accents. I mainly love the Irish, English, and Italian....and if there is some smoking hot looks accompanying that accent well, he could read to me the dollar menu at Mcds and I probably would have his baby...LOL Just kidding or maybe not. I am sucker for them.

I know I have one, you know some people sy they do not have an accent which I find funny, it is a mixture of southern and northern....Chicago with Kentucky....so i think accents are fun and revealing of where a person has lived who have great stories....

I live in KY now and wish I could meet more of those accents I love, but it is almost impossible. I hear more accents like Larry the Cable Guy kinda stuff. Not my thing there.

I do think an accent can attract people, but as for a relationship it has to be more than good looks, accent, etc. If they are not a good person on the inside then none of that really matters. By the way, my s/o fell in love with my southern accent lol and once we made plans for me to move to the northeast where he lived.....he told me I better not ever loose it! lol

Some natural accents are always attractive.I always get attracted to the the Chinese girls with an accent in their English.And I can always smell a fake accent miles away.

Accents makes a difference along with looks. not only accents will do. If this world was only an audio world, probably he is true, but for his bad luck this world is visual too.

I know for me, I really find that accents are a turn off. I like the good old fashion mid-western or California accent that I grew up with. I can go for someone who is British because part of my family is from there and I'm used to the accent as long as they don't use a lot of slang that I'm unfamiliar with. The same goes for Australia as it seems like I can relate to what they talk about, but if they use a lot of slang, it's a turn off to me. People with some Asian accents are fine as long as their English is near perfect.

I'm not saying that having an accent is bad or makes them a bad person, it's just for a choice in mates, I don't find accents attractive. I know that they can't help having an accent much like I can't help having an accent when I travel to their countries. If a person is really wonderful otherwise, but has an accent, it doesn't mean that I would pass them up necessarily.

Maybe for some it is a turn on but I grew up in the Philippines so we don't have this issue..LOL! I find it cute really when I got here and been meeting people with different accent and sometimes, I find it hard to get what they mean..LOL! I love to listen English.

I am a great lover of all accents. I think it is more to do with the person speaking than where they come from. A French femme fatale can be very sexy, but equally very unsexy, attached to the wrong brain. I love most British accents, especially Southern Irish. Americans sound great too, but I have to admit I am not overly attracted to southern drawl. I have come across Chinese and Indians who also sound very sexy and can say words in a certain way that sounds soooo hot.

For me, the most important thing is, that they are female.
