Itchy Mosquito BItes |
|
Is there a way to temporarily ease (or relieve) the constant itch from mosquito bites? I must be allergic to them or something, because any time I get bitten, the area gets insanely swollen and so itchy that I'm constantly scratching until the bite bleeds. I can't afford to go out and buy those anti-itch creams andsprays, so does anyone have a home remedy for it, cause the constant itching is really getting annoying!

1. Gargoyle0134 (1251) | 6 months ago | It itches becasue the air is getting to the opening and interacts wiht the itchy venom the mosquito spit leaves in there. Take a Benedryl and then put a small covering of clear nail polish to keep the air away. It works!

2. thuynhu (396) | 6 months ago | I hate mosquito bites. I get them really bad. The bites tend to swell up pretty big on me. I know of two ways that could stop the itchy. It should be without a doubt affordable. One way is with your nail push into the bite and then spray some perfume or cologne onto it. It may sting just a little but its a small price for it to stop itching. I know this that one for a fact works. I'm not completely sure about the other one since, I always have perfume on hand. You do the same but instead of the perfume you would use your spit or saliva. They say there's something in it that should help it but I'd prefer the perfume over that. I hope this works for you. Good luck.

3. peavey (2202) | 6 months ago | Try dabbing vinegar on it. It will sting, but the itch should go away for awhile. Another thing to try is to hold an piece of ice on it for a few seconds. Again, it will go away for awhile, but return, but maybe not so intensely.

Chispa514 (398) | 6 months ago | Thanks! At this point I'm willing to try almost anything. I never thought of the icecube though.
