how close are you with your daughter or mother

Well me and my mom are pretty close. We were always more like friends then like mom and daughter. And now that im grown we still talk everyday and usualy visit once a week.

I am very close to my mother. She lives with me and we go shopping and to eat lunch every weekend. Don't get me wrong we have our moments when we fight like cats and dogs. Usually because she tries to parent my children. She really babies my oldest.

We haven't always been this way. When I was a teenager we couldnt be in the room with each other more than a few minutes without fighting. I thought I would never understand her. It was after I had children that we became close again. It seem like everything she ever told all of sudden made perfect sence.

So even if you and your girls have some ruff years. I think you can always be close to your daughters.

I only have boys now so I don't have a daughter. I hope you can work things out with your mother.

My mother and I are pretty close. I love her. We still have a mother-daughter relationship though; we aren't friends like some people. My friend and her mother are like best friends. I think that only works when the child is older. That doesnt work if the daughter is like 12 lol. But I still dont talk to my mom about everything though. I would just find that too weird.
