Tate Publishing

I'm pretty sure that Lulu is good for some publishing. I've seen lots of people publish on there. I also have a neighbor who went through the self publsihing arm of Random House. My concnern with Tate is hopefully resolved. I disliked their illustrations so much that the head of the department is putting me back into illlustration again in August. I hate the delay, but I hated the original illustration even worse. Thanks for the comment.

Obviously this discussion forum has come up in the general search engines, so let me update any readers that come across this minor discussion.

After I was so dissatisfied with the end product that Tate had put out, the head of the illustration department called me back and he personally saw to it that the issue was resolved in a manner that I found to be pleasing. I will have a new book coming soon, and fell okay about the deal. I was disconcerted when the President of the company called about this minor entry on this discussion forum. He must fight off quite a number of blog entries that deride that company.

Anyway, just to set the record straight, they have been good to work with, have not tried to cheat me, and if you don't like an aspect of how your book is turning out, they do the best they can to make it right. I think that's great!
