Favorite romantic movies

Some of my favorite romance movies are:

Far and Away with Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise
While You Were Sleeping (romantic comedy) with Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman
How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days (romantic comedy) with Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson
Wild Hearts Can't be Broken starring Gabrielle Anwar and Michael Schoeffling

It would take me awhile to go into why I liked all of them, but as for Wild Hearts Can't be Broken, it is based on a true story, and the love story is one of the most pure and inspiring love stories I've ever seen.

Hi MariaD... I like the movie, CITY OF ANGELS with Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman as the main character. I love the different flow of the story, the angel thing, the twist... Everything! I just love it so much, I always find myself awed everytime I watch it again... I'll never get tired of watching it and crying along with the main characters... That's one of my all time favorite movies...

Oh I LOVE "While You Were Sleeping," with Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman. First of all Bill looked so cute in that movie. The plot was so well done and I don't usually watch romantic movies. I'm such a LOTR type girl. But "While You Were Sleeping" was wonderfully written and acted out. This movie made me laugh and cry at the same time. And Ms. Bullock is not afraid to play the plain Jane type of roles even though I think she's quite beautiful.

Bridget Jones's Diary and Pride and Prejudice are my favorites. They are very similar stories and even have the same actor, Colin Firth, as the male lead.

I love the message, that you can love someone just as they are, and we don't need to put up appearances for the ones who do love us. We shouldn't ever have to. If we can't be ourselves, what's the point?

That will be City of Angels. It's starring by Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan. This movie makes me like Nicolas Cage. This is a very moving movie and it has a sad ending. Perhaps this is why it impressed me.
