Are we having fun yet? |
|
I'm not necessarily talking about fun on mylot, I'm talking about life in general, do you view life as fun, do you view your life as satisfying? Do you have friends that you can cherish, and talk to when you need a friend to pick you up? Ar you having fun with your kids, or are you having fun with your family? Do you find life fun? And if you don't what do you do about it to make it fun? Mooch

1. enterpriseLEE2010 (703) | 4 months ago | I have fun with my friends. I saw the two friends I have outside of this site today. One of them is upset right now with this baby mama drama issue. Go ahead and view my discussion on Baby Mama Drama. If you can, respond to it? Thanks in advance!!! --Lee

enterpriseLEE2010 (703) | 4 months ago | Life is stressful for one of my friends. I'm praying to God that He intervenes and touches her heart. "Lord, please remove those things that's keeping her from becoming saved and coming closer to You out of her heart--the pain, the cussing, the past, the people who had hurted her, the wall she puts up to keep people from getting to know her--all of it. Remove them out of her heart and rescue her soul right where she is standing right now at 7:36PM, Lord. I believe You can do anything but fail. Come to her now and save my best friend in Jesus' name. Amen."

3. tyc415 (2880) | 4 months ago | My days are usually long, boring, lonesome and just blah. Right now my days are fun but going by too fast. My daughter is still here visiting with us. She and I stay up until around 2 each morning just laughing, talking, snacking and watching TV. We have such a good time together. When she goes home either tomorrow or friday at least my grandson will still be here for a visit with us. After she comes back to get him the end of this month or next month and they both go home my days will turn back to long, boring and lonesome. I hope you are having a fun day.

4. gemini_rose (8037) | 4 months ago | Well life is not necessarily fun at the minute, the main reason for this is the flippin weather, we have had nearly a week of rain, and today it has not stopped all day. According to the weather people we are not going to be getting a summer yet either just more rain. So not much fun there, how can it be fun when we are all stuck in the house. Never mind!

I always have my Husband,Dad,Mom,Sister and friends to talk with when I am down and lonely...I am happy with my life but can't deny that there are times also that I miss my Family since we are far from them..So, that will always bring me down but I am happy that with technology, I can talk to them online or over the phone often!

6. royal52gens (1836) | 4 months ago | Mooch, are we having fun yet? I think so but I could be wrong. If we are having fun, please tell me because I don't want to miss it. Having fun with friends can be such a fleeting event and should be treasured. Having fun is not something that can be boxed or bottled. It has to be enjoyed at the time that it occurs. Woo Hoo!!! I think we might be experiencing fun. Quick! Enjoy it. I am trying to share it with you. Are you having fun?

8. susaneverson (4876) | 4 months ago | Hi Mooch. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful my life is. I have a beautiful home that we rent from really good people. My friends are absolutely the best and we never see enough of each other. My family is the best, I have brothers and sister who I really enjoy spending time with, my parents are still alive and we spend good times together, my children are not around as much as I would like but they are doing very well, I do have one son living at home with us and he has his son here with him, I have four grandchildren who light up my life whenever they are around. My husband is truly inspirational and the best thing that ever happened in my life. I only wish the rest of the world was as lucky as I am. Susan

9. RLFinNash (5750) | 4 months ago | hello mooch lol too funny. i take my life one day at a time. lol and i try to live each day to the fullest, spending time with my children each day and also spending as much time as i can with different family members as well. also, yes, i have real life friend's that i cherish and wouldn't give that friendship for anything. i guess that the best friend's that i have are the one's that i speak about all of the time that live out in the country. they live too far away from where that we live. and i guess that everybody has their good days and their bad days as well. i know that i do. but for the most part, i am a very happy person. i try to treat other people the way that i want to be treated in return. i had a great day today baking chocolate chip cookies almost all day long. i wish i could spend everyday like today baking something. have a beautiful evening.

10. pyewacket (8539) | 4 months ago | Nope..I sure as heck don't think I'm having fun...LOL. This August 27th my mother will have been gone two years now. During the time that she's passed away, it's like I'm trying to make up for all the years I didn't do anything for myself. You're pretty familiar with my "story" I think so don't have to go into it again. Prior to two years ago, I really didn't do anything for myself since my mother pretty much dumped responsibilities in my lap while she decided to be in some kind of twilight zone....there were so many times I just wanted to pick up, pack up and get the hell out, but financially I just couldn't. So with her death, I now have the freedom to pretty much do what I want..but at a price...I feel like I'm always working...either trying to "build" up my photo career again, rattling off tons of articles just to make a little extra money...in other words always glued to the computer. It's ironic since thinking back to my college days I always had a full schedule..always studying for exams, doing terms papers, practically living on campus at the college's theatre since I was involved with the scenic design crew...YET..I still managed to have time to have fun, have a social life....NOW???? Nope. I don't even have enough time to read the way I used to cause I fall asleep! I've always been kind of a workalcoholic to begin with but now it seems even more. I'm sure hoping that all this effort pays off one day soon and I can bask in the luxuries of my efforts and have fun again. I do have friends I can talk to, but not as much as I used to...I'm always working now. I really shouldn't be complaining...I mean I do enjoy the work I do as part of it IS fun...but I wouldn't mind taking some time off and just do nothing once in awhile
