women don't really know their internet dates.....do you agree?

I don't think women should avoid it but just be careful if and when they decide to meet a person they been talking to online. People need to realize when they talk to someone online that the other person might not always be truthful about who and what they are.

Also when you agree to meet the person its never a good idea to go alone and always meet in an open place, making sure also that you have let someone know what you are doing just in case something happens.

I think one of the problems with online dating is that women forget to do the thing that they do in real life, background check. I think it is MORE important to talk to his friends, read his profiles on different sites, and in general be cautious. I think that women should be careful with internet dating, and as the other comment said take precautions, such as meeting him in a group with friends rather than alone or in a very public place.

Are you aware that the exact same things happen to women who meet men anywhere else? People lie to meet their ends no matter where they are.

I met 3 different guys from the internet and nothing like that ever happened to me. I even ended up marrying one of them.

I agree I would never offer to meet a man anywhere, that I have chat with on the internet, You don't know who you are chatting with, or what their back ground really is, they can tell you anything online, because they know you trust them.
