i got two new mini blinds yesterday!

It's nice to know that you are enjoying your time cleaning your house. While others doesn't like cleaning at all. Once again you had proven to yourself that there are joys in every simple things.
I'm so busy with work and I don't have time to clean. I can only wash dishes, sweep the floor and tidy up some things in the house.

I do not even like to think about the last time I did those things. I did re do curtains and windows in my kitchen earlier this summer. Got some cute curtains at a yard sale. I also got a new cleaning product, Shaklee Basic H2, and I really went on a cleaning binge with it. It makes the windows shine, and it also cleans up the wooden part. Love it.No alcohol, no smells, not hard on my hands. I need to move throughout the whole house, though. I keep an assortment of curtains and change them out to suit my mood and the seasons. It is the cleaning I get lazy about.

It is funny how new things can totally change a room, I recently put up some new curtains in my bedroom. The last pair were really dark and horrible and these ones are light and the room looks great.

I try to clean my windows regularly, but it is just not something that I get much time to do and so more often than not they do get a bit neglected!

It has been too long for me. I guess it has been a year since the windows have had a good cleaning. We have glass patio door and those have to be cleaned more often. I need some new mini blinds myself. They can sure make a difference in the looks of a room to have new or clean ones hanging.

Mom's windows were just cleaned 3 weeks ago before I left on my trip. I put up new vertical's in mom's house about 6 year's ago! She does need new brighter ones, these are starting to get dingy looking..Good for you, I'll bet it looks so clean & bright..Lori

I love mini blinds over curtains or shades myself. We had a new interior backdoor put in last year. We got the one that has a built in mini blind inside the window. It is awesome as I can open it, close it, slide it up or down. Plus I don;t have to clean it as it is inside the window. Glad you got them installed. I clean my living room windows a lot. Buster is on the couch staring at strangers, neighbors, and other dogs as they walk past. he is constanly rubbing his snout on the window. That gets very disgusting looking so it needs to be cleaned often. Ewww.

Oh they sound lovely, I bet you are really pleased with them and they definitely can make a difference to a room I agree. I cleaned all the windows about a month ago when we had a day of sunshine instead of rain for a change and it certainly brightens things up I agree. It is a fantastic feeling to have new curtains or blinds. I had some fitted into the lounge window last October which are fantastic as I can draw but they still let the light in. I have curtains also over that window. They cost £100 ($200) but well worth it and even machine washable if you take the material off of the slats. Ellie:D

GOod job:) I know the feeling when we have everything nice and clean.
I also got something for my living room windows. But in my case I threw out the mini blinds that were there. The cat had been there specially at one window and had broken the bottom. Instead of going back for mini blinds I decided on roman blinds. They're brow to go with my sofa and we can take them out and wash which is a feature I like:)

I have to admit that I like keeping a clean and organized place. However, I do not remember the lat time I cleaned windows. It has been pretty hot in the south lately where my family and I just moved 2 months ago. I did put up some blinds not too long ago and I have to say that blinds have a way of really sprucing up the house. I really enjoy mini blinds and also the vertical ones. They really can shape up any house.
