Do you or have you ever dressed up your pets?  

I used to live in a block of units and every Christmas Day I used to put Christmas decorations and bells on all the neighbourhood cats, they all looked great with all their sparkle...

not personally except my sisters dog into a warm sweater in winter as it gets to -9c sometimes here in winter & he goes nutts without one.

no, it's fine for other people to do that with their pets but myself personally, i think it's ridiculous, my step daughter dresses her chiuahuahuah in silly clothes and i just don't see the point....i could never dress my cat up...he would hate it....

my nieces dress up there hamsters but they just chew the clothing off i on the other hand when i was younger i had a pony, her name was Missy. i used to dress her up in a pink hat, i used to cut hole in the hat for her ears and a pink and sliver cape. i also used to paint her hoofs pink. did i mention i used to get a good beating from my dad for doing so. i loved to dress up my pony and no matter how much licks i got i did it anyway. After a while my dad got fed up and left me to do whatever i wanted with my pony.

Once I had a baby shirt that wouldn't fit
my baby so I put it on my Eb.

Poor cat hobbled around for a minute
before I realized that it wasn't really
designed for cats.

I guess they make regular cat costumes and such.
Baby clothes do fit a cat but aren't shaped right.

I think the baby shirt would have worked if I could
have put it on and snapped in front under her belly.

It wasn't designed for that, though.

But it was fun.

One time a friend of mine said,
"Animal cruelty, no! Animal comedy? Yes!"

I'm all for animal comedy, especially if you
get a pic of it!

dress up pets although really make them look nice and cute.Its also a way to show you love to you pet.However i still feel that it is a wasting of time to do so because they do not need it due to they already got soft fur to protect them.

Hello ruthep, we have a dog and cat and never had the idea of dressing them. My poor dog is always outside the house, watching the house and my cat is a female one.
But we groom the doggie.

When i was younger we has a yorkie and I would dress him up in baby doll clothes sometimes and carry him around like he was a baby. lol poor thing but he never really seemed to mind...he was a wonderful dog.

I have tried to dress up my cat ones for Halloween but he didn't like that and didn't keep it on The dog i have now Saber, I haven't really tried dressing him up.

I've put a shirt on him before to take a picture but he took it off..
I can get him to wear sunglasses sometimes though and a hat! I've got pictures of him wearing those hehe oh and the first day that i got him my cousin came over to see him and brought him this big alligator stuffed animal.. he had it for the longest time and when it fell apart i took the head part of the gater and stuck it on my dogs had as a mask! it was so funny and cute! he got the nickname "sabergater" out of it too

I used to dress up our kittens in my doll cloths for fun. I would take their pictures. None of them seemed to mind. My dog,Chamise, I used to dress up with pants, a top and I would pin a floppy hat to the top so it wouldnt fall off, at halloween and take him out with the kids. He seemed to know he was paert of the fun and seemed to love it. He was a great dog.
