i had to laugh |

| this morning i woke to find that my lovely moggie Max had got out, i have tried to keep him indoors since he was injured by some thug a little while ago, but he must have found a way out somehow, i lock the cat door at night now so other cats don't get in, well i searched all over for him but i couldn't see him....the next minute i looks up and there he was sitting high up in the cherry tree, he looked so cute so i took a pic of him.....isn't that sweet? so i called him in, fed him and gave him water, then he went into my bedroom for his nap....anyways here i am typing away here in mylot and he came back into the livingroom then headed for the cat door, it was locked so he couldn't get out...the next minute he picked up the cat door from the inside with his teeth, and off he went...lol...now i know how he got out, i had locked him in, but forgot to lock the other side, so during the night he'd found a way of getting out...LOL...he is a clever little cat, but i don't want this to be a habit of his because i am scared that he'll get hurt again, does anyone else here have a cat that does things like this? i always got told that cats weren't that clever, WRONG!!! but it seems that mine knows how to escape even when the cat door is locked...LOL....i was surprised to see what he was doing, it's like he has a mind of a human sometimes....see pic below...my max in the tree...lets hear your funny cat stories? | | | | | |

| | I think cats are persistent little problem solvers. Where there is a will there's a way. That should be the cat motto. Where we used to live my cat always managed to pick open a a closed and locked pet door and mangaged to escape through it. We had to put heavy suitcases in front of it to keep the cat in. Our next door neighbors didnt like us and the cat used to go onto their patio all the time and one time got into their house. I was worried about what they might do. | | | | | | |

| | I have a cat who loves to "knock on my kids' doors at night. Sje knows that it is cool inside those rooms and she "knocks endlessly. Her knock is a different accent of "meow!" which sounds like mo mo! | | | | | | |

| | It's okay to laugh! Go right ahead! I laughed myself silly when I saw him in there! He never did it again! LMAO Yep, I noticed that Mustard and Max look very much alike, too! Mustard had a sister, whom I got at the same time (abandoned kittens) and I named her "Honey". They were so sweet! Honey was definitely the smarter of the two! LOL | | | |

| | oh i love the name mustard...it's really sweet....i am still giggling about that pic you posted, it's so sweet....max is up a tree right now, every time he gets close to the wood pigeon, it flies off and he's left dangling there...LOL...so funny...now he's getting fed up and is trying to get down from the tree...this is where he hides when he sees the pigeons but he can never catch them, they are too smart for him, i have lots of funny video's of him trying to catch birds but they always outsmart the poor little fella...LOL.... | | | |

| | You have a beautiful baby tatty. Cats, like dogs are very smart. I've sat and watched mine at times and could just see the wheels of their little minds turning as they figure things out, lol. | | | | | | |

| | aaaah he sounds like the best little baby. I have dogs and they are this way about things. Let a piece of ice hit the floor they go after it and play with it until it melts, lol. This is the way with many things they find to play with. They even hide it from the others so they are the only one to play with it, whatever it is at the time. | | | |

| | Anyone who tells you cats are not that smart is obviously not a cat lover, and obviously does not know your adorable little Max. Such a cutie, and such a nice tree, too. | | | | | | |

I went into the kitchedn and heard his pur, he had opened a door to the kitchen cabinet and made himself a nest among my pots and pans, little sneaky cat. | | | | | | |
