Even how positive a person is, there are still moments that negative thoughts are eating them up. In your case, how do you drive away negative self-talk or thoughts?

This happens to me from time to time. I hate it when it happens. I really do. That is why, when this happens, I would start thinking about good memories. Yeah, also the funny ones. After a while, I lose the negative thoughts. I do not know if it can work for everyone but it does work for me.

Yes, you are right, thinking alone of positive and happy memories can make us feel better. And you are right again, it may work for you but not for others. It is a helpful opinion. I will give you a positive rate. Thank you so much for responding. Take care

well to battle very negative attitude to life as in the "everything sucks" way... I created this little thing for the bad days. I bought a cute little booklet with lots of pages in rings. Whenever I come acros a picture in a magazine that has something in it that I really enjoy, I glue it into this booklet and write the story why I like that so much. I call the booklet: my reasons for living. It contain the small things of life really, but when I feel bad, I go through it and realise that it "all isnt so bad afterall" hope you manage to get ride of your negative thoughts!

Wow! I think your little book is very interesting to read. That is a very unique and great way to bring us back to reality that all of us have reasons to live so why put all the burden and letting negative thoughts bother us. Thank you so much for your response, it is very helpful. I will give you a positive rate. Take care =)

Hello, leateagee! Well, I am not such a negative person, but I'm constantly having negative thoughts. I imagine the worst of all the situations, and I'm always thinking that I will make mistakes before doing something. I tried to take those thoughts away, but I guess it just really is a matter of effort. If you say: "No, everything is gonna be alright", then the positive thoughts will start getting in. The problem is that I feel comfortable having negative thoughts sometimes. Why? Mainly because it couldn't be worse than I thought, so I think I'm ready for everything. It's hard to be thinking too high of something, like: "It'll be a success" and, then, face a failure. Bad, isn't it? Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Well not always, but for example. I hate math, I need to pass my classes. I'm always telling myself, I know I can pass this class. I have to pass this class and other time, I just give up. I just talk to myself or ask my husband, did you think I could do it. He always tells me yes, you can do it. Just don't give up. How about you, what do you do?
