You set the alarm for five
By six I was saying goodbye
With briefcase in hand
At the door we stand

Kiss me goodbye
I'll see you tonight
Kiss me goodbye
Your kiss helps me survive

In the hospital, trying to fight
You tell me it is time to say goodbye
Tears fall down my face
As Ihold you in an embrace

I will miss you tonight

I just see that you've written so many poems here! You must be a poet huh!.. happy
Unfortunately, most of these poems belong to "Discussion with No replies".. But, nonetheless, I'm a poet too. Not as good as you though, i love writing words that rhyme...

I don't know if you would call me a poet...more like someone who uses poems to get their emotions out. If not I would be one of those EMO's that people try to avoid. ;) Thanks for the wonderful compliment.
