The English Language

Hey there, I will have to say that the best thing about the English language is that it is widely used by the people in the world and is commonly used to transfer knowledge and technologies, news. Without English, it's just hard for people to explore stuff. WHat frustrates me is hmmm.. Nothing, i guess.

I have done majors in english and i love english.As such i have not found any frustrating thing in this language.

Interesting? Hmmm.. that would be how words can have different meanings wif pronounced differently. For example, address. If the stress is on the first syllable, we would be referring to a physical location but if you put the stress, we would be referring to the act of speaking or talking. Since I teach English and accent to my trainees, what's probably the most frustrating is trying to answer their questions as to why things are the way they are. (Like I was the author of language or some sort of guru. LOL.)

I am Bilingual. I understand English and Mandarin.
The thing I like about English is its simplicity. The grammar is easy and simple to understand. I am learning Spanish and Japanese and their grammar is much harder.
The frustrating thing about English is its lack of differentiation. For example, the noun Brother does not tell us if it's younger brother or older brother. We have to add in an adjective in order to know. For Mandarin, 'younger brother' and 'older brother' are separate nouns.

English is quite difficult. The grammar, the slangs the idioms. If your first language is latin based is quite hard. But you keep going and going and one day you can communicate!
