Looking for a new church...

I am 32 with a 3 and 4 year old. I attend the church that I grew up in. Upon graduation from hs, I spent 10 years working very closely with the junior high and saw the group grow from a group of 8 regulars to 40+ regulars. With the arrival of my own kids, I did not have time for junior high involvement anymore. Since then the junior high has dwindled down along with our entire youth program. Once great things like VBS are mediocre and I worry that my kids will not have the same great experiences that I had. So, we may be looking for a new church soon. What recommendations or suggestions do people have? I don't want to be known as one of those church hoppers but I want my family to be happy
