 I have a fun day planned of a bit of shopping and even more relaxing. I'm hoping to buy myself a couple of nice gifts, from far away friends showing love in my inbox.
Here is what I'm thinking of buying myself....
A new pair of Rainbows
A birthstone ring or necklace of Kate's stone
A big lunch and dinner out with Kate
OR
A cleaning service to come over twice this month and clean my filthy house from top to bottom

And fold the laundry. Then you can mow the yard, no worries, I have a nice John Deerr riding lawnmover with a cup holder and everything. You'll just have to walk about three mile to the gas station for fuel, and more beer. Get a case. | |

When my youngest was 6 years old, she taped 4 cents into the handmade card for me and she wrote "sorry, low budget!". That was the funniest so far! LOL! It is still in my collection of cards.

You remind me of something cute I have and I need to find it and add to it. When my kids were young you could get little boy or girls with stones in the middle for birthstones, these were charms you put on a necklace, pretty casual. I have two topaz for my boy and girl. They are grown up now. If I could not find the little people, I am sure I could find something else with birthstones for my grand kids. I would have a blue zircon and two amethysts. My daughter in law had a mom/grandma bracelet made for me. At the time we just had her two kids, a blue zircon and an amethyst. I have another amethyst and had it added to the bracelet, as well as tiny peridot beads for me, because I needed a bigger bracelet. Maybe next year I will have another grandbaby to add. Have a wonderful birthday, whatever you choose, and thanks for reminding me of something I love.
