I think I like the idea of having some people clean my house every now and then too. I really don't like cleaning the house... LOL! it's one of the things that I always put off for the next day and the next and the next... until the kids and the husband beg for mercy! Yeah, it would be great to have someone take over the task every now and then. I love living in a clean house. it's just that i do not like the idea of doing the cleaning myself.

Happy birthday! I think you should get a new pair of rainbows. Mostly because that sounds cool and I don't know what you're referring to--other than, of course, real rainbows (which are totally attainable and buyable for your birthday).

The most practical one is the cleaning, but is it really the most fun? Plus, like I've seen in your responses, it might just cause some stress if you feel you need to de-clutter before they come. (I'm pretty sure I'd be the same way--I don't think I'd be comfortable having anyone clean my own house, other than maybe a good carpet cleaning...if I had carpets).

I am male so I think I would pick a big lunch and dinner out with Kate, but the a new pair of rainbows would be a good choose too, I never bought something to myself when It is my birthday but I don't want people to gift me stuff either, I rather prefer a card, not an online one, a real birthday grettings card, or maybe a chocolates, , the cleaning service would be a good idea too, I am lazy so I don't like to be doing cleaning even in my own room, I am not sure really, because all those things on your list are good. about the trolls I think that they delete discussions when they find something that is against the guidelines, I just checked them and I didn't find really anything against the guidelines, maybe the discussion is a little similar to the one thing in the list of thing of don't do here, it is the one about don't post things like what is your favorite color. I hope they don't delete this one, by the way, happy birthday.

Aww--why Happy Birthday to you!!...hope you really did do something special for yourself to celebrate. I would opt for .....FOODDDDD. I do this for my own birthday...I fix my special dinner for myself...Beouf Bourgninon served on couscous, get a special bottle of French wine, get a birthday card and balloon for myself...Since I live alone now and don't fuss with cooking as much as I used to, fixing a special dinner for myself is a real treat....So like I said..have a real winner of a dinner

The birthstone, so that i will have something to remember me by on this day and year that i will keep in my heart forever and the lunch thing, so that I can add another happy memory with little Kate in it. Happy Birthday to you. My birthday is tomorrow. We could party together. I have looked at your list. I would pick the lunch with Kate. I don't have a favorite gift as most years I don't really get anything. This year I have a houseful of teenage girls. They are watching movies and spending the night in the tents out in the backyard. Lots of giggling and laughter. The camera is going. One of the girls has her birthday tomorrow also. So yes, it is more for her birthday than for mine. But it is a lot of fun to watch them being so silly. They have been eating pizza and other snacks. I think this party ends tomorrow about 4 in the afternoon or when the giggling ends. I hope you and Kate have a wonderful time. May you see life through the eyes of your child for a day and may it bring joy to your heart.
