That's a neat shot. How often does anything we want to photograph sstay still? haha That's why I never go anywere without my Handycam, and little camera phone, so that I can capture videos of just about anything I want. Thanks for sending another cool picture o all of us here on MyLot.

hi mooch yes a great shot because you captured the dragon
fly and its shadow too. I too have never seen a green
one but have seen lotsof the blue ones. dragon flies
used to scare my sister to death. We tried and tried to
assure herthat they would notsting or bite , but it
did on good.

We have those types of dragonflies in our area too. They can be a nuisance at times. They life to hover around our swimming pool sometimes and take dives to the top of the water. I don't mind them flying around but I wish they would go hover the big pond in our sibdivision instead of hovering our swimming pool.

That is a really neat shot. I don't think I have ever seen a green dragonfly with black wings before, but then again when I see something flying around I don't normally stop to check out what color it is.

we mainly have the black ones around here,they're pretty large.
i have seen some reddish ones in virginia,like a metallic red,absolutely gorgeous.
