My sons male kitten is extremely playful and is "always" on the "go" and i dont remember out female cats like that growing up. Are boys generally more playful?

My female cats are very very playful so I dont' think males are more playful. My females love to play anything they can find they even carry off my daughters toys thinking that they are something for them to play with!

If you are going by what is "normal", female cats tend to be more playful in the long run because they are the hunters. Males usually lay about and wait for the food to come to them. We have a male and female and the female is always looking for someone to play with, the male would rather not move from his spot if he can help it.

Well thats good to know. I probably dont remember much about our female cats growing up because i was young myself but i was just wondering. Inquiring minds wonder about these things. Thanks!!

I would have to say the female kittens are more playful. Male kittens usually just do what they want to do and be lazy.
