Are you more of a woman if you have long hair?

One of the contestants on America's Next Top model had her entire head shaved. It actually made her look more feminine.

I think that it's possible to feel feminine with short hair styles; you just need to look for the one that suits you the most. I myself have short hair, and I think that it's a good fit for me. I tried having long hair in high school because almost everyone else did. Trouble was, I never knew what to do with it, so it was only pulled back into a ponytail! In college I wised up and cut it back down to a manageable and enjoyable length. So to answer your question, no, I don't think length should matter.

Female grows their hairs faster than males. Though it is not necessary to keep long hairs to identify oneself as female, it is generally seen that woman love keeping hairs as this brings beauty to their face. It makes woman look beautiful most of the times.

The length of ones hair does not make them more of a man or woman. It could make you more attractive, to some people and less to others. That, of course is a matter of personal taste. I myself prefer long straight hair. I love the way it hangs down when.....well. never mind that, I was probably about to get too personal...

I think a lot of how a woman looks is involved in how confident she is in herself. Hair can be long, short or somewhere in between if a woman is confident in herself then the hair will only accentuate the positive spin she puts on herself.

I personally have very long hair, but that is because I do not want to be bothered with going to a stylist every month to get it maintained, not because I think it makes me any more or any less of a woman.

I do not think that you have to have long hair in order to be more feminine. I have had both long and short hair and to me it is how you feel about yourself that matters. A woman that has short hair is just a beautiful as a woman with long hair.

Oh, I definitely don't think that short hair is un-feminine at all! If you like your hair short that is great! For me, I prefer my hair longer, but I have had it as short as just above the chin before, and I didn't think it looked good on me, but other people I think it can look good on. It's also about personal taste. When I was a really little kid I had hair way down my back, then it was shorter for quite a long time, then I started growing it back out, and I only get it cut or trimmed if I really have to. LOL And it probably doesn't help, but victoria's secret models are exactly 100% real, LOL half of them probably don't have the hair they appear to in pictures and stuff!:)

I had long hair for years but recently, I dared to go short this time. I think it is nice to experiment once in a while. People around me say that my short hair looks nice and I think it's a good idea that we try different styles from time to time. I do not think it made me look less feminine. I even think shorter do is more sophisticated. Victoria Beckham looked more feminine to me with her short hair now compared to how she looked with when she wear those long hair wigs. I guess it all depends if the hair style is right and goes with the frame of your face.

I have short hair and it has been short for over 25 years .. If the syle fits your face then its perfect for you .. Have you ever seen some woman who have long hair, they don't take care of it? It does nothing for them . Think of it that way . You are as feminine as you carry yourself. If your husband likes it .. thats a major plus!!! thats the person you have to please:)

For my opinion i don't think that hair is what makes a woman feminine, it's all in the way how a woman dresses and acts, but still it's just an opinion, and it varies among women, some looks more attractive with a shorter hair, some with a longer one and some both.
