How hard is the art of letting go?

Yes, its really hard to let go, especially when someones really touched your life and you feel that a part of you is gone too. Actually its better to cry it out. And then just let go, when its for you it will come back...

Letting go is never easy. Especially if you gave your 100% in a relationship. It's so darn hard to put a smile back on your face after hearing the person you love say the dreadful words "i think we should end this". It's hard to go on as if nothing happened, put up a brave front when inside your falling apart. It's hard to cry silent tears because you feel no one will ever understand you. It's hard to cry in the middle of the night not knowing if your ex-guy feels the same pain as you do. Personally, after the very first painful break-up I went through, I realized something: it's only my heart that's broken. It will be put back together in time. I still have me, my life. I gave myself time to cry, to grieve and I also gave myself time to heal. And i did.

I guess that is the real art of letting go...realizing that although some relationships are not meant to last, it doesn't mean you have to stop loving. If you truly believe, deep in your heart, that you could bounce back from a broken heart and give your overhauled heart to that one person who's truly deserving, then you have mastered THE ART OF LETTING GO.
