Missing Athens

I had the opportunity years ago to travel to Greece with my wife and a couple of friends. Our tour brought us to different scenic spots in Athens. The place was just reminiscent of the amphiteaters, colliseums and majestic statures we get to see in movies about ancient Greece. It's like you're transported back in time 'coz many of their buildings and old structures remain intact (or maybe reconstructed?). To top it all, the local people of Athens were heartwarming and friendly. The place was surreal and the atmosphere more than romantic. I could fall in love again with my wife in that place. I will certainly go back with my wife and our kid this time to Athens.
