 I have no idea that how's a pc infected by virus? How dangerous it was? What symptoms show that your pc infected? I can see hidden files, izzit my pc infected by virus? HOw if my pc dont have antivirus? How possible it would be happen? Please share your antivirus?

Your PC should not be on the Internet without some kind of virus protection.

My screen went red a big skull white popped up with cross bones in middle of it. took awhile to get rid of it.
other type of virues that I've read about will take over E-mails and send to all your contacts of ads of all types by the hundreds.
others can get into checking accounts and passwords.
some times you'll have these virus's for over a month until you click on a certain program, Zap then you'll know.
I've heard this happened to some one with some type of worm trojan or simular. was playing on computer and hundreds of worms appeared on screen eating at recycling bin and all the icons on screen, at same time wiped out every thing on hard drive drive too. Lesson learned? Buy the programs It's woth it, every penny and make back ups of things you value...

3.  tonijane016 (378) | 3 months ago |  I think you really need some antivirus program. If you're computer often hangs, then it is virus infected. Also, when you use yahoo messenger, and you keep on sending messages you didn't actually send, it is again infected. Third, in some cases, when you open your browser, it would often close and you'll have a hard time surfing the net. Please just get a antivirus utility. Mine is AVG. That's good. And of course, always keep it updated.

4.  steivene2hot (122) | 3 months ago |  Piece of advise, DON'T EVER surf the net without an anti-virus installed in your pc. Try using Kaspersky Internet Security 7 for safer internet surfing and please don't use IE browsers cause you will be more prone to viruses, try using Firefox 3.

It is good to have anti-virus software on your computer. I reccomend AVG beacause it is free. Go to http://free.avg.com/. .

Virus can be transfer by click the folder or un recognized folder if you accidentally
click it means the computer you are using is also infected with the virus.
